What a fabulous weekend! Dave and April are now officially hitched. April is now a Haskin. Craziness! They had a jam packed schedule for everyone. I swear, I got there on Thursday night and before I knew it Sunday had come. We had lots of quality family time which was incredible considering the chaos of putting on a wedding. April looked absolutely GORGEOUS and Dave wasn't all that bad either! Ha! I was so honored to be a reader in their ceremony and Andy served as a Best Man. It was a nice family affair if you ask me! The food was amazing and Nathan and I couldn't help but eat the delicious cakes...we tried vanilla, strawberry and chocolate cupcakes...yum! Nathan spent his Saturday playing golf with the guys and, although he won't admit it, played very well with his brand new clubs! He did get a bit sunburnt though. I just love dressing up and enjoying my family along with Nathan. I'm so glad he was able to take time off from his internship to take in some of the festivities!

Reuniting with the boys at The Mont. The Mont is a local hangout that specializes in "Swirls" which are frozen Sangria and Margarita swirled together. Nobody told me how potent they are. I had two, and don't remember much after that. I'm pretty sure it was a repeat of my 21st birthday thanks to my thoughtful drink buying brothers. Lordy me.

All dressed up. This shot was taken at the reception. I was SO excited that everyone looked at the camera and (most of them) smiled! Doesn't Max look so stinkin' cute in his little tux? These Haskin's sure cleaned up well!

This shot was taken by the flower girl, Evelyn. She pretty much got away with murder after walking down the aisle. Everyone was so impressed that she actually walked down alone and "tossed" flower petals. We let her do/eat/say/touch anything she wanted. I'll have to try and find a photo of her doing her job. After some hesitation she walked very slowly and purposefully down the aisle, eyes glued down to the left as she dropped one petal at a time every foot or so. The pastor even began the ceremony by saying "We all know that flower girl is an Episcopalian. She showed it through her diligence, courage and perfect petal placement." Or something like that.

My turn to take the flower girls photo.

Max the Mooch. That's his new name. He was great at the reception, just sat on his Nonnie's lap and mooched her fruit, cake, dinner, water and pretty much anything else that he could get his hands on!

The father/daughter and mother/son dance to "My Wish" by Rascall Flatts. This is the only picture I have of the newlyweds. I have to admit that I completely forget to take any photos of them. Grr. I'll try to beg some family members for their photos so I can post them. Until then, just trust me when I say they were a beautiful pair of newlyweds! Now they're off to St. Lucia...lucky ducks!
Meanwhile, at the Naughty Dog Cafe where Sampson was staying he was relaxing and taking time to stop and smell the roses. The following photos are from Amy, his Doggie Day Care caretaker, who has been such a blessing in Sampson and our lives. He even managed to make an appearance on her blog www.naughtydogcafe.com
