So for the second time the kids made Challah bread. I actually enjoy doing it, cooking anything with kiddos is a blast! We make the challah today, let it rise over night and they each get to shape some tomorrow before we bake it. Last week we added chocolate chips, yum! Challah is a special bread that is eaten on the Sabbath or Holy Days in the Jewish faith. On Friday night Jew's begin to celebrate Shabbat and the celebration begins with the blessing of the Challah. Just a little tidbit of information I've picked up at the JCC. By the way, challah tastes amazing!
