We celebrated Carmina's last day at work with dinner at Zingerman's Roadhouse (one of my favorite places!).
I have an interesting story to share about a pregnant woman. For privacy reaons we'll call her"Marmina." Now, Marmina was on a walk with her dogs and a lady driving a car sped through the intersection without letting her cross and nearly hitting her and the two puppy dogs. (side note: Ann Arbor is a VERY pedestrian friendly city!) Well, this upset Marmina, so she followed the lady's car and managed to tie a bag of dog doo doo on the woman's car mirrors along with a snappy little note about letting PREGNANT pedestrians safely cross the street next time.
I told Carmina she needed to talk to this "Marmina" and tell her to get her little Preggo hormones under control...then quickly apologized because I don't want to end up with a bag of doo doo hanging from my car mirror. If you don't know "Marmina" please know that she is the sweetest woman EVER, except when she's 8 1/2 months preggo and trying to safely cross the street with her cute puppy dogs in the heat of July. :)
