Well friends, it's been awhile hasn't it. Thank goodness for my auto WWW posts or else no one would ever bother coming back here again! :) Here's a quick breakdown of our last three weeks.
Accepted a job in Charlotte teaching 1st Grade...
Called previous apartment complex to secure an apartment.
Packed rental truck and drove 11 hours to CLT.
Arrived late to rental unit but they were nice enough to unlock the doors so we could get in and spend the night.
Realize 2nd floor apartment will not work with a dog that is TERRIFIED of the stairs as they are see through. Oh, and someone took a number TWO in the top of the toilet and it was DISGUSTING. So after a trip to an old friends to find new rental properties in the area and two very dramatic phone calls to my parents we found a hotel that took dogs and four rental locations that had openings and accepted dogs.
Spend the next 12 hours anxious.
Find PERFECT apartment in the PERFECT new location. We walk to restaurants and our grocery store!!! Plus, we're on the bottom level so: no stairs, beautiful back yard and easy access to a three plus mile long walking trail for Sampson and co. to enjoy!
Unload truck into apartment and take school items to new classroom.
Drop off rental truck the next morning and drive back to Indiana to pick up the other car.
Drive back to Charlotte.
Breathe...but only for a day.
New Hire training all day long complete with TB and drug testing.
First day of school.
First field trip.
Parent/Teacher conferences.
And.........FIRST PAYCHECK!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next few posts will be some recent happenings from this past month, enjoy or ignore...you decide. :)

Yay for the update! Boo for the drama! Can't wait to hear more...soon, I hope!
How can someone poop on top of the toilet. What a waste of energy! I can't wait to read all your updates and hopefully talk to you soon!
I am glad you are finally able to settle in! Hooray! I hope that the teaching is going well and that you are enjoying the weather... and a dog who doesn't have to climb the stairs. :)
