I had a lovely birthday...still struggling with the fact that I never got used to being 25 and now I'm a year older. Ugh. The office staff threw me a surprise birthday lunch which was very sweet. Meghan came with the boys to join in the lunch fun. Check out the rainbow cake that Jenny made! Good food, GREAT friends and presents...a girl can't ask for much more than that!
The Mr. Freeze celebration of my birthday...Nate downed a half-quart hot fudge sundae...thanks to the fact that he had to run 20 miles that morning for marathon training!
Sampson is still curious as ever...and the BIGGEST baby of all times. His new found love is busting into Meghan's house to eat crumbs off of her boys...
Easter dinner at the Gaucher's. So fun. And delicious! The company was definitely the best part.
"Who wants to go to Nate and Elizabeth's wedding??"
"Meeeeee!!!!"
"Meeeeee!!!!"
Then came the stretching...a good thing to do before bedtime.
A trip to Cincinnati to finalize wedding things: engagement pictures, meeting with vendors, finalizing ceremony portions, etc. Dinner with the fam at "The Schoolhouse" for good ol' fashioned fried chicken. Then to the movies with Andy and Becky while Boppy and Nonnie put the little ones to bath and bed. They needed a bath after all of the playing and goat feeding.
Best line of the dinner? Evie - "I have on white pants and undies. So you can't see them." Smart girl. I remember a certain co-worker that wore purple panties with her white pants once...not so easy to conceal. :)
How would you feel if someone asked you to Prom by saran wrapping your car while you were at work? Gotta love high school...
And then the work week began again...pheew...now we can return to our normal posting...
