We're not in Kansas anymore...

So, we made it to the Tigers game. Sure wish I'd known Kristie was going to be there too. Darn.

IT WAS FREEZING!!!! Silly us, we thought after such beautiful 70 degree weather that we'd be able to enjoy the summertime at a baseball game. NOT SO my friends, not so. I had on jeans, a long sleeve cotton tee, wrappable sweater top AND my raincoat and there were certain points when I thought of yelling "Go Blue!" That happens when the weather changes drastically to FOOTBALL weather. Ugh.

The good news? I had popcorn and a hot cocoa. And I got to sit next to my main squeeze all night. And of course a bunch of other rockstars were sitting by us. Tigers got creamed by the Yankees...and it only took me six innings to realize that Jeter was there. Durh. I think Dave almost divorced me as his summer friend when he realized that I in fact had no interest in the game nor did I understand a darn thing that was happening. Since when does Jeter leave the fancy photos of the US Weekly magazines (that I steal from Dave's wife no less) to play baseball in Detroit? I mean, really, can you blame me for getting a bit confused??
