WWW

I almost brokedown and posted this on Monday because I was sooo excited about it! But, I made it to the official day of posting. This week after a lot of my schedule being thrown off I was still able to step on the scale and lose...3.5 pounds! Holla! I was so excited I couldn't even contain it! The problem? I'm not sure what I did this week that created such a great amount of progress? I'd sure like to know so I can do it for the next 5 thousand pounds! Ha!

On to the good stuff...

This week we discovered these beauties at Target. I was hesitant to get them being an avid coffee ice cream lover, but Nathan talked me into them. Um, hello. This is heaven on a 1 point stick. And they are HUGE. They are great for that sweet tooth that creeps around after dinnertime at our house. If you're a coffee ice cream fan I think you'll get a kick out of these babies!

I've been scouring the web trying to keep myself motivated. I found this article today and it really reminded me of how planning our meals out ahead of time and making time for the Y really is helping me in so many ways. I swear, with Weight Watchers it seems like the smallest things that you can do for yourself really help you when you step on that scale each week. For instance: Nathan is known for his "wanna try a bite?" niceness. Well, I say no almost everytime...and that little no really carries me a long way. I often have to remind myself that "every bite counts" and it keeps me on track. So, no, I don't want to try a bite...but thanks for asking. :)

Oh...this is a great resource too for healthy tips and recipe links...

See? If you follow the plan, it eventually comes off. It just doesn't always follow your timeline. Don't get hung up on what you did that week. It is accumulative effort that counts! If you went off WW right now, you would not gain 2 lbs per week. Sometimes you would gain 5 and sometimes none. It is the same with losing. Be patient and you will be successful!! Congrats so far! Love, J

Proud of you! I will be on WW soon enough, but am giving myself one more week of extreme lack of sleep eating!!!

I didn't know you were trying to lose weight! Why??? But congratulations on the weight lose! WWW is a very good program...Rachel lost a bunch of weight with them a couple years ago...And Kate has done it a couple of times too. I have absolutely zero self-control anyway so I wouldn't be able to do it. But kuddos to you!

Yay weight watchers! Your "every bite counts" part reminds me of what my leader says. "If you bite it, write it. If you snack it, track it!" There is another one but I can't remember at the moment. Another phrase that really helps me get through the temptation is "I have two choices - Make progress, or make excuses!"

...but sometimes I still make excuses. :)
