Blimpy Burger

It's my last day at work. It's also Jenny's last day at work. We're just a little bit excited. Just a little. We decided to throw caution, and more importantly our diets, to the wind and meet all of our besties for lunch at Blimpy Burger. As first timers to Blimpy, Nate and I were of course a bit unsure of the whole ordering process. It seems that they will literally YELL AT YOU if you order incorrectly. It's all part of the experience, or so they say. It just made my stomach upset and probably annoyed the dickens out of the second shift of orderer's (more on that later). I think I asked Meghan if I needed just one tray or two five times. Poor thing.

Anyway, Sara and I wandered from the office to Blimpy Burger on the dreary, but still nice day. Shoot. What last day of work isn't nice? Anyway, in true Tan-style, she had to pose with the sign that I was taking a picture of. This is the house of Blimpy. An Ann Arbor tradition. Guy Fieri featured it on his tv show, Diners, Drive-in's and Dives. Pretty cool. I ate a burger off the same grill as Guy Fieri. I'm practically famous.

The grill...where the magic happens at Blimpy Burger.

Fries. Glorius fries.

We went in shifts to order. The first shift got to eat while we were drooling at the counter watching our food cooking. I should have gone in the first shift. You're not crazy...that is Carm and she IS still here! HOLLA!

Check out our cheesy burgers... Yum Yum Yum

Lettuce, pickles, ketchup and mustard puh-leeeez!

Mmmmmmm...

Nate and I sat on the lovers stools. Because we're in love. Because we love each other. It's love.

We love him. And his poor brother that wasn't there to defend himself.

And it was worth every rain soaked minute...that's right, it pretty much downpoured on us the entire walk back. Whatever. It was worth it. Even though my pants are still wet as I type this entry. From work. ON MY LAST DAY!!!!!!

Thanks for a great lunch everybody!
